Be the Light ENC is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Onslow County, NC. Our roots trace back to 2015 when we first came together to assist in hosting a holiday party for local children in foster care. What began as a small event quickly grew into a community-wide effort, benefiting an average of over 150 children annually.
In 2024, Be the Light ENC was officially founded. This year marks our first full year as a nonprofit and we are excited to launch several new programs to support the children of Onslow County. As you can imagine, we are not heavily funded and rely on community collaboration. This assistance can come in the form of donations, goods, or even in spreading the word for Be the Light.
